Soul Searching

One of the biggest things we deal with is finding exactly who God wants us to be. Where He wants us to go, what He wants us to do. It's a struggle that we have all face at least once, standing at a crossroad and not knowing which way is best.

I've had so many people tell me, "I'm just not sure what He wants me to do."

College? Traveling? Missions? What career?

They are all options that go through our head as we start out on our own.

But, my question is, why is it that we get so overwhelmed by it?

We get so worked up.

"If I don't get married within a year, my life is over."

"I don't know if I should preach, even though God has already told me to."

"I don't think God would really need me in Haiti, He can send someone else."

Which is just simply not how God works. If God has called you to do something, the biggest mistake would be for you to run from it.

Praying for God to show us the next step of our journey is vital to our well being. If we make rash decisions without God's input we find ourselves at a complete lost.

Waiting is hard, but it's best when we don't know which way to go. Many times we get tired of waiting, so we just make a choice. Even though, God hasn't gave us an answer.

Stay focused on what you know for sure. Ask God to lead you to the right door. Enjoy the present and do all you can with what you have. God will lead you to amazing things.

Lead me, O Lord, in righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.
