Confidence and Humbleness

Confidence: A feeling of self-assurance arising from one's appreciation of one's own abilities or qualities.

I know so many people that struggle with their confidence. A lot of times it's because someone has hurt them deeply and they lose all trust in themselves.

The truth of the matter is, if you don't have confidence in yourself it's hard for you to show confidence in Christ.

How can you be a light to others if you're constantly doubting your own abilities?

You can't be so hard on yourself. God made you. You don't have to change a single thing. Stop battling yourself.

The devil isn't the one fighting you, you are. You tell yourself you're not good enough, but you're more than enough. You're working everything up in your mind.

There is a purpose in everyday. God created you, and He has great plans for you. Trust yourself. God has put trust in you. If He can, why can't you?

We are talking about the almighty God. Because He has plans for you, He's trusting that you will follow through. Have some faith in yourself.

"In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him." - Ephesians 3:12

Humbleness: By showing meekness or modesty in behavior, attitude, or spirit; not arrogant or prideful.

We all know those people that are just too high and mighty for anyone. When God blesses us with gifts, the purpose of them isn't to boast or rub it in others faces. We are supposed to use them to give glory and honor back to Him.

Confidence is key when being a witness, but just as much as it is, so is humbleness.

We can't let ourselves think that just because we did something kind that God should bless us. The whole purpose of being kind and giving is not to expect anything in return.

"Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves."

- Philippians 2:3
