Remember when you were younger, and you wanted something but your mom said no? You would reply with, "WHY NOT? Do you even have a reason?".
We often come to the place where we have that same conversation with God.
Not that long ago, a situation was placed in my life that I did not understand. My heart was broken when God said no. I questioned Him a lot at first. I was angry and confused. Then, I realized I was asking the wrong question. I shouldn't have been asking, "Why not?". I should have been asking, "Which way now?".
Life is full of unanswered questions. It's hard for us, cause we like to be able to know everything. It's our human nature.
The way you can only stay sane is one word. Trust.
I like plans. I'm a planner. But, God's plans are always better than our own.
There's a purpose. He knows exactly what He's doing.
Instead of being upset that God isn't giving you what you want, thank Him. Thank Him for protecting from something that wasn't His will.
For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. - 2 Corinthians 1:20
