Standing, looking ahead, seeing what could happen, but not being able to say or do anything about it.
It's hard. God gives us a vision or passion for something we are supposed to do. But, then He's like, "That'll come later".
Why would He do that? Give us a piece, but tell us not now?
It gives us something to strive for. It gives us a expectation of the future.
If you don't have an expectation, you're just bored.
Sitting on your hands and just trying to get through the day.
It's honestly depressing. No one wants to live like that.
So, God gives us a glance. A little insight to what to look forward to.
There's more to the story, though. I mean He might give you hints of what could happen or how He will use you.
But, there's always more He has up His sleeve. Because, that's who He is, that's how He works.
It's exciting isn't it?
We just have to stand. Look ahead with confidence, without fear of what tomorrow may bring.
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
