Giving with the expectation of getting nothing in return.
The problem with this next generation is that everyone wants something out of everything.
"Do unto others..."
It's said so often yet, no one takes it seriously.
But, let's put a spiritual spin on it.
When is the last time you did something for God, without expecting anything back?
Just doing it because you love Him.
Giving up some things that may take up a lot of the time you should be spending with Him.
A good friend of mine the other day went out of their way to do something to make me smile, just cause. Their was no deeper meaning, they just care.
God is constantly looking out for us. Constantly working.
It's the little things that make a big difference. Maybe, He hasn't even asked you to give something up. But, you could do it, just cause you care.
Sacrifice something this week to spend a little extra time with Him.
